Trade Manager - Mitre 10 MEGA Greymouth

We're seeking a proven leader to continue with the growth and development of our trade department. 

Naturally, you'll be results driven and will have the ability to grow our business through maintaining current and developing new key trade relationships. Preferably you'll have a strong background in the Building Industry, whilst having the ability to use your leadership experience to create and lead a high performing team that seeks to consistently strive for excellence. 

Within this role you will be: 

• Developing solid customer relationships to increase business
• Mentoring Trade Account Managers to enable increased sales opportunities
• Inspiring Trade team members to provide an outstanding customer service experience every time
• Maximizing sales and profitability of the Trade department, as well as contributing to the overall financial results of the store.
• Reporting sales budgets and stock forecasts.
• Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive and safe working environment

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven management experience, preferably within the Building Industry
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with an ability to adapt quickly to meet market needs
• A second nature ability to deliver an exceptional customer service experience
• A high degree of initiative with a 'think outside the box' readiness
• Energy and enthusiasm to motivate your team
• Effective verbal and written communication
• A current, clean driver's licence is required
• A Trade-related qualification or similar as this would be a distinct advantage.
