Mobile Device Management Specialist
Be a key member of our IT team and work within an organisation that is going through a mobile transformation.
Sustained growth over the years has seen Mitre 10 surpass the $1.4 billion group sales mark – and we continue to grow. With that growth comes the need to do things differently.
As part of that, we are in the throes of introducing managed Mobile devices in our stores, primarily to provide our in-store teams with greater access to inventory and product related information.
Within this position you will own, maintain and update the MDM platform, support mobile applications and device usage across all Mitre 10 and will work in a dynamic, team-based environment to ensure our products are built and maintained in a way which creates value for our customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with a cutting-edge project and the latest technologies. Within this role you will have ownership of the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, managing devices, providing level 2 support for mobile application issues, acting as an escalation for vendor support and looking to drive design and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
Setting up devices and dealing with issues, with both the devices and the platform;
Documentation and sharing knowledge;
Identifying training needs and delivering as required;
Assisting with application issues; and
Any technical or administrative support required in relation to building and maintaining the end-to-end lifecycle of the Mitre 10 mobile device platform.
This will be a varied role focussed on managing the mobile platform, dealing with issues, enquires and upgrades. It needs someone who has at least three years in a helpdesk role, with MDM platform experience (ideally Workspace ONE) and understanding on integration technologies. Someone who is keen to learn and has excellent customer service. You will also need strong investigation and problem-solving skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to own the mobility space and shape the mobile capability in Mitre 10 stores.
If this sounds like the career move you seek, please apply now with your cover letter, CV and indication of salary expectations.
