Mitre 10 continues to dominate the NZ DIY retail market through both its market share and number of stores throughout the country - and you can be part of our continuing success by joining the team at Mitre 10 MEGA Greymouth.

We have a full-time position available on our Greymouth Store working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday.

This is an exciting and important role within the store, primarily managing the day to day running of our bulk merchandise displays - bulk bins, clipstrips and endcaps.

Additional duties include updating of pricing labels, locating stock placement within our computerised stock control system, assisting Inwards goods staff and general customer service.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is cheerful, friendly and outgoing, who can relate to people from all walks of life
• Who has previous retail experience (preferred), along with exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.
• A head for heights, as the position requires the use of a Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) when storing excess stock
• Has basic computer skills (able to use Exel, Word and e mails)
• Is fit and has no restrictions on lifting/handling stock. Has the ability to work on their feet for several hours at a time.
