Full-Time Drive Thru Team Member Mitre 10 MEGA Papanui

We are currently looking for a motivated and customer-focused team member to join our busy Drive Thru team at our Papanui store. This role is full-time 40 hours per week working a Sunday to Thursday roster.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with both trade professionals and DIY customers, helping them locate, select and load building materials while providing outstanding service. If you have experience with timber and building products and enjoy working in a fast-paced outdoor environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting trade and retail customers with their timber and building material needs
• Picking, preparing and loading customer orders safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a tidy, well-presented and organised Drive Thru area
• Working collaboratively with other store departments to ensure customers receive a seamless experience
• Developing your product knowledge to provide expert advice and recommendations
• Operating forklifts and other equipment once trained and licensed

• Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving building materials
• Reliable, organised and able to manage their time effectively
• Eager to learn and develop new skills
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
• Interested in obtaining forklift certification and progressing to an F Endorsement

You'll need to hold a full New Zealand driver's licence.

Previous experience in retail, timber, building supplies or trade environments would be advantageous. However, if you have a strong customer service background, a great work ethic, and a willingness to learn, we'd still love to hear from you.
