We are looking for a Cafe Manager to take charge and lead the team in our busy Columbus Coffee Cafe in Napier.
The person we are seeking will be extremely well organised, have great attention to detail, while also having the ability to plan ahead. You will have a contagious passion for excellent coffee and food, while also having the ability to delight your customers with outstanding customer service.
This position reports directly to the Cafe Operator. You will be responsible for working on the floor as well as supervising the efficient and smooth running of the Cafe on a day to day basis. You must be highly organised with the ability to work unsupervised. You will be a natural leader of people.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond the usual Cafe duties. You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels and also overseeing the daily management of the Cafe. You will be organised and methodical in your approach to the job, with the ability to see the big picture and engage your staff accordingly. You must also demonstrate the ability to learn new skills. Strong communication skills and relationship management are essential.
